How to keep your favorite progams on the top!

How can I keep my favorite programs near the top of the Start Menu on Windows XP?

This question was answered on January 31, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You can adjust your settings to position the program at the top of the Start menu. It will also keep it from being bumped by other programs, even if you use the others more frequently.

Just follow these instruction:

Right-click the link to your favorite program on the Start menu and select Pin to Start Menu.

Your program will be moved permanently to the top part of the list, just below your browser and e-mail programs.
