Where is my device manager

Question

my windows xp was fine and when i tried to open my device manger from my computer properties to see my hardware , it open a consol page

but when i go to administrative tools in my control pannel in computer mangement i can see my device manger

this is anew statue with my pc , it wasnt before

can you help me .

This question was answered on February 5, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

I just went thru my XP and in computer properties you get a system properties console page and and click hardware you can get to your device manager and in your administrative tools also you can select device manager, I don;t see how it could have been different for you
