How do I get rid of the password request and the preperation tool desplay?

Question

When I boot up after shutting down, I get request for password. I do not use password. When I click OK, it will start up. I tried going to add password and put in blank Info and it didn't work to stop this. After it starts up I get the start menu open along with Preperation tool 2.0 . Click on the X in preperation tool and they both close.

This question was answered on May 6, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Try going into the control panal and click on passwords then click on user profiles and swicth that tap and then see what happens when you restart.
