My HP photosmart 318 camera will not work with my PC, what can I do?

Computer Novice.

Have HP Photosmart 318 camera. Added Epson 2400 Scanner. Pix won't upload. Popup dialogue said camera may not work with scanner. So I unplugged scanner usb. Still won't work. Now what?

This question was answered on May 12, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

Try deleting the driver and the software for the scanner and loading the cameras software and drivers only. This might solve the problem.
