hidden tool bar

Question

Microsoft Office suddenly started showing a screen with no toolbars showing. I had done nothing to Office. I've tried deleting it, and reinstalling, but still get the same problem. Is there some hidden file I need to delete when I uninstall it? How can I get a reinstallation to appear as normal.
