What is a .pla file?

Question

I was sent a document by a friend and it came to me in a .pla file extension and I dont know how to open it or what software I need to use to view the document.

Seems to me like you guys love circuit schematics because a .pla file (Programmable Logic Array) is used to save information like that. Try to open it with Notepad or Microsoft Excel.
