How to defragment your computer

Question

I'm a blonde trying to figure this out. heheheh

Don't know how to refrag, and will this help me w/ my speed? All the sudden when I have multiple windows open, switching from one to another it is very slow. If I have Yahoo and msn going on at the same time, or if i'm on the internet then go to my email, and different things it's slow to open. Can you help?

Thank you,

Kim

In order to defragment your computer first click start, programs, accesories, system tools, then click disk defragmenter. This will give your computer some more speed, but to really speed up your computer you are going to need more memory. You can call the manufacturer of your PC and asked them what kind of RAM/ memory you need in order to upgrade your PC. More memory, the more windows you can have open at once. When you have multiple windows open with not enough memory your PC will run very slow.
