Position Title: Recovery Technician

Position Location: Phoenix Area (Tempe)

Compensation: $33,000 plus bonus

Hours: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform software-based media diagnostics and data recovery functions.

• Understand basic data recovery concepts and terminology.

• Process inbound and outbound data recovery projects.

• Investigate files that encounter errors in any action, attempt to fix using appropriate utilities and/or methods to ensure successful importation.

• Utilize problem solving skills and team work to tackle complex recovery situations.

• Filter files based on pre-determined attributes; separating files according to the guidelines established for the type of project.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Demonstrate a willingness to take extra measures when necessary to provide world-class service and support.

• Strong computer aptitude with understanding of “architecture”, “file layout”, “structure” and “folders”.

• Take direction and retain information.

• Time management and organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Able to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

• Flexible attitude, can accept change in job direction, duties or responsibilities.
