Data Doctors Radio Program
Updates, patches and Service Packs
Unless you're in the computer service business, you have likely been faced with an "alert" to update something on your computer that you weren't sure about.
Updates to software programs are critical for security, enhancements and to fix known bugs, but when do you know when an update is a good idea to install and when it isn't? Service Pack 3 for Windows XP is a great example of an update that was released in April of 2008 but still not installed in millions of computers because of the fear of potential problems.
Listen in as the Data Doctors give you the guidance to navigate the world of updates, patches and service packs and the best ways to keep your system updated.
