How to stop kernel from popping up on my computer?

when i am running internet explorer and winamp at the same time i will get an error message

KERNEL32 caused a general protection fault

what can i do so i can run winamp and the internet at the same time with out my computer

screwing up like this

it might be that winamp is a third party program and its trying to use ram memory that the kernel dosent like, do you have suggestions?

This behavior can occur if you have installed the Hewlett-Packard PictureLink software that is included with the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet drivers

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Hewlett-Packard for an update for this software.

To work around this issue, move the Hppicture.lnk file from the Startup folder This eliminates the error message at startup, but you should still obtain the updated drivers
