Recycle your old technology!
Many thousands of computers become obsolete each year. This growing number of end-of-life machines has become, and will become, more and more of a disposal problem. To understand the importance of recycling old technology, it’s important to understand its effect on the environment. For instance, computers are bulky items. The disposal of these devices drives up the rate at which landfills will reach their capacity. When recycled, computers can be used as a source of precious metals found in circuit boards, power supplies, and the like. Most importantly, many computer components contain toxic chemicals that need to be disposed of responsibly.
It’s past due for spring cleaning and we want to help you. Listen in to Brandon and Chad while you haul your old technology to your nearest Valley Data Doctors, or to our live broadcast at the Phoenix Zoo.
