Good Password Etiquette
Hackers are a devious bunch and will stop at nothing to get into your network and files. Your first line of defense against attack is your password. Too often the importance of the password is taken for granted, rendering your computer easy prey.
Generally, hackers use three common methods to crack a password: brute force, dictionary attacks, and social engineering. Using one - or all three - of these methods can easily reveal a poorly crafted password.
With a little understanding of how passwords are cracked you can begin creating masterful passwords, hardened against such attacks and avoid stolen data and identities. Tune in this weekend as Ken, Brandon, and Chad discuss techniques for great passwords.
