Recycling E-Waste on Earth Day
When Earth Day was first proclaimed in 1970, no one had any idea what "e-waste" was, much less what to do with it.
As we evolved into a nation of consumers with a veracious appetite for technology, the problem of what to do with our old tech began to have an impact.
Today, e-waste is said to be growing at a rate 3X the rate of general municipal waste so the problem is just going to get worse.
The most disturbing statistic is the paltry percentage (less than 5%) of e-waste that is being recovered.
Listen in as the Data Doctors give you tips, encouragement and resources to join the move to properly dispose of e-waste in honor of Earth Day!
