The Threat of 'Sidejacking'
Imagine sitting in a coffee shop, surfing the Internet and having the person next to you 'hijacking' your web sessions...It's really possible and it's called sidejacking.
We first warned you in February of 2008 about this direct threat to anyone that uses a public wifi network, but this past week things got much more dangerous.
A couple of developers at a hacker conference in San Diego released a simple tool that anyone can use to start hijacking Facebook, Twitter and various accounts that are commonly used on public wifi networks.
Listen in as the Data Doctors explain how this happens and what you can do to protect yourself when using public Internet hotspots!
