Harrison was very hepful and pleasant. My computer was ready within the 2 day window I was promised. My computer is working just fine now. All problems identified were fixed. I wish I knew more about the virus and spy ware that had invaded my computer. But that may not be a reasonable request On Harrison's recommendation I changed my anti virus and spy ware software from McAfee to CA and hope I don't have any problems again. The cost was significant and that will be a consideration on my part in the future related to returning to Data Doctors however service was really top notch!

It took a day longer than it should have. I had to keep calling and still felt like I wasn't getting the whole story. I paid ALOT to have this done and to be without a computer for almost 5 full days was not necessary. I should have been asked to do a clean sweep instead of the techs trying to reinstall McAfee when I didn't need because I bought your Panda program. I was not real happy about this.

The overhaul service you performed restored Windows XP through reinstallation so that my computer, including my DVD/CD drives, now works properly. I did not realize that I would have to reinstall my printers, scanner, modem and camera and all the software on my computer, but have now done that. I have stopped using Norton Systemworks and Personal Firewall because Norton Antivirus did not pick up the 52 viruses that you discovered. I now use the CA programs I purchased from you, along with the Cox security package. My only problem now, since the overhaul, is with my A Drive. When I attempted to install a screenaver program using this drive, it would not complete the installation program. Also, when I tried to format some floppy disks, the procedure would not work. I am trying to figure out if this is a hardware or a Windows software problem. I would apprecite any advise you can give me on this. I am already on you email mailing list. Thank you.

The service was great, very friendly & helpfull. However, now the updates for Windows will not display, giving an error message that the web page cannot be displayed due to errors. How do I fix this, since the Media player can't update either, so have of the music won't play, needing the security updates. We have moved to Indiana, & don't know if the is a store close by.

One frustration was to not hear from the techs about the status of the computer. We called on June 23rd to see about the status of the computer and they told us it would be ready by closing time and definitely by Monday morning. We went on Monday morning to pick it up, but it wasn't ready either. The techs did tell us they found problems with the OS and were still working on it. They were very professional, but we wish they would have given more details to us on what was happening. The store had our laptop for a full week from the time we dropped it off until we picked it up. To better the service I would have liked to have been shown what they did so I would be able to replicate it on another machine. The education piece is important to me, because I work on many computers and want to be able to keep them in good working order as I am a teacher and don't really make too much money to be able to bring the four computers I have in to be maintenanced at $300 each.

It was nice to go into a place and feel that no matter what my knowledge is of technology that I would be treated with respect. I have enjoyed working with DATA Doctors for that reason. The staff is very knowledgeable and is willing to talk to me as a person not just another person in the store. They truly take the time to listen to what you are looking for and give you the options of what is available. As well as when buying a new computer I was given all available options but not pushed into upgrading just to have a bigger sale. I really felt like the salesman wanted me to be happy with my new computer and to be able to get the most out of it for quite awhile.

So far, I am happy with the service I received. Suggestins: (1) Be more realistic about service time. I was quoted 3-4 days I delivered PC at noon, Monday, June 11 and it was ready for pickup on Tuesday, June 19, at 1:30 pm. Counting Saturday, that is a turnaround time of 7 days. (2) It would be helpful to let me know that I would need to reconnect (passwords, etc.) to all my "Favorite" websites. Again, I was happy with the overall service.

Sorry for the late response. I could not have been more satisfied with the efforts the two technicians made to restore my computer data. I initally called Gateway to assist me with a mouse and keyboard problem. They directed me to restore my computer and lose all my data. I am an accountant and between year-end accounting issues and tax returns this would have been disasterous! I paid for an expedited service which only put me out of service for a few days. I lost no data. Your guys were very considerate and did whatever it took to get it back to me as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, since I waited so long I have forgot there names. I would and have very strongly recommended your service to many of my associates.
