$400 to take a virsu out was too expensive. I should have probably brought a new computer instead. When the guy is just sitting there waiting for a scan to complete, you could consider allowing him to give a break on the bill. I am not sure I selected the correct locaion where I ordered my service.

I took the computer in because the music does not play when a CD in inserted. I was just told it won''t work because there was a disc error (or something?). No one said if it could be fixed, no one offered to fix it for a price (I had it in under warranty). Also, I explained to them about antivirus needed - my computer is the server and the need for a special product. I had to call the Chandler office and talk to Michal, she told me what I needed and I called the Phoenix store and I asked them to order it, they didn''t, I called, they apologized, they ordered it but before it came in someone else was able to take care of the issue. So I really did not have either problem solved by Data Doctors. The guys there are very nice though and they did fix a problem with my speakers not working the last time I had it in there.

My data was put on DVD and it looks as though all the data is there, but when i copy the files to a hard drive they contain no data. What could be the problem with this? Am i doing something wrong in retrieving it?

Regrettably, there was some misinformation given to Shane about arrival time. I told the person who set up the appointment that I would be at a luncheon downtown and could be home by 2PM. Shane was due to arrive about 2:30. Instead, his instructions showed 1:30. Fortunately, the gate here had my cell phone number to call and tell me he was already here. I got home as fast as I could, but he had had to wait from about 1:30. Be that as it may, he was excellent.

Sales Invoice#SI-10403163 I don''t usually take the time to offer feedback, but this is the 2nd time I had a challenging visit to Data Doctors on Camelback. My check-in with Justin went great. He seemed fairly new, but asked for help when he needed it. He probably could explain the different repair options a little better. But overall great customer attention and pleasant. However when I was contacted by Richard, I assume the tech that worked on my system. I could get no info about the 2.75 hour repair on my system except that it was ready for pickup. When asked further I feel I rec''d a scripted answer, ....that they performed their full service and the computer showed no signs of problem. I asked again and didn''t get any comments. I read the tech comments on the invoice which is quite long, he could have given me some hilights on the phone, but no attempt was made. Perhaps this is the protocol for Data Doctors. This is my second time dealing with Richard, while I am happy with the last 2 repairs, his customer service needs some improvement. However I will continue to visit Data Doctors in the future. I understand the challenges of employees and that customer service training is a continuing process. This is just an fyi to help improve customer service.....feel free to contact me if you desire.

only two of the three issues were corrected. I still cannot launch a word or excell document / attachment. Please call, as I am frustrated that I may need to bring my computer BACK in - and hope that perhaps there is a way to fix this over the phone.
