Well, this is the second consecutive year I've had to bring my computer in for comprehensive servicing and the installation of the latest Norton security program. I did so because I was again having problems with my computer. I even brought in a printed sheet of the problems I was experiencing, with the error codes, to provide to the Data Doctor. Imagine my surprise when y'all called me the very next day to inform me that my computer was ready for pick-up! I paid my $331+, retrieved my computer from your store just before closing time on a Friday afternoon, and immediately set it up at its work station in my home. It was still doing the very same things that prompted my trip to Data Doctors! I had to work all day that Saturday, so I could not return to your store until Monday, 17 October. This marks the second year in a row that I have had to return my computer to you. Y'all are batting 1000 in this respect, but this should NOT have happened! However, the true problem was quickly diagnosed and I was able to get back into operations within hours. I am now satisfied with your service and currently have no outstanding issues.

I was told that the professional windows XP would be put in and it looked like that in the computer I saw in the store. I wold like a floffy disk put in now and how much will that cost. Time wise great and very nice staff. Thank you, Lorraine

I have always been a fan of Data Drs. This is the third computer I have bought from you and I am always telling people that they should contact you if they have a computer problem. Unfortunately my last experience with DD was not as pleasant as those in the past. They sales clerk was arrogant and spoke down to me. I have an old printer and was not told that I would need to have a card added for the "old time" printer cable (at an additional charge) until I got home and realized there was no card there. This meant a return trip to the store to have this done. I get back home and atart to load a program I have on a floppy disk anf the A: drive does not work, I call and am told that it might be a bad drive or that a cable may be loose. What to do? Bring it back in. It seems to me that all drives should be tested before releasing a computer to a customer. I haven't taken it back to have this fixed because of time constraints. I'm not sure when I will be able to do so. It really is a pain in the butt and shows what I feel is a lack of professionalism, at least on the part of this location. Although this is the location most convenient to my home, I will nopt be going back there unless more problems should up with this purchase. You have a lot of money and time invested in getting the DD name out in the public. Your franchisees don't seem to worry about that. Ialready receive your news letter which is why I'm checking no below. If I am contacted about this, I would like it to be by someone other than at the store where I made my purchase. They are not responsive to constructive criticism.

I was totally pleased with my experience. The individual who helped me was very good at explaining the problem with my computer in terms I could understand. They got my computer back to me much sooner than orginally expected which was great because I needed it to work on college internet classes. This was my second experience with Data Doctors and would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Overall experience was as good as ever. However, I brought the laptop in for cleaning as well as a battery replacement and when I brought it home, the air vents on the bottom of the computer were still full of dust and dirt, which I cleaned myself. I was also quoted a price of $280 for a new battery and was able to find one on line for $129 (delivered).

The repair was supposed to take 2 to 3 days. I was pleasntly suprised when the store called less than 24 hours later , telling me my computer was ready for pickup. The computer preformed as it did when I bought it at the same store. They even offered to carry it to my car. Good Job and thanks for the speedy service.
