The windows XP re-install that was suggested for my computer was probably not the best plan for me. It couild be that my computer skills are not sufficient to get all the favorite old programs re-installed and running as they used to, the Data Doc thechnician spent the time to explain what the computer would need after he finished the procedure and I don't fault him I am just highly frustrated with the machine now.

A Spyware program that had only been on my machine for 1 month was replaced, which I felt was very unnecessary. I felt it was a personal preference of the technician. The main purpose the machine was taken in has still not been resolved. Supposedly it was a software problem? This was reasoning for new Spyware program. Cost in excess.

I contacted Data Doctors with a couple of questions. They noted that my problem with connecting two computers to a cable network was not working because i had the wrong hardware. We connected the correct hardware and it is working perfectly. We were not charged for the service and i would highly recommend Data doctors for this reason. we only talked briefly on the phone, but Rob was very courteous and helpful. He was knowledgeable about what i was trying to do and was able to locate my problem quickly. For all my future problems, i will definately use Data Doctors and i will suggest them to all my friends. I most appreciate Jon Rock's tenacity and doggedness in getting to the bottom of my computer's problem. He spent time with me explaining what he was doing and ferreting out the problem. At no time did he indicate that the problems could not be resolved.

Rob was the Data Doctor technician I was working with. I had originally brought my 5 or 6 year old computer in for a check-up. It soon became obvious to both of us that I was in need of a new computer. Rob built the new computer for me, installed my Msoffice software and copied over all my Word and Excel files. After a few days, the on/off button was not working properly, again Rob took great care of me. He switched my components into a new box, the computer is now working very well. Rob also copied over my wife's favorites. He was very pleasant and professional, I have already recommended him to my neighbor.
