Navigating through COVID-19

Last Updated: 5/17/2021 2:20PM MST

As our company responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our team members and customers remains our absolute top priority.

Why we are still open

Data Doctors provides services to one of the 16 critical infrastructure sectors as outlined by CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) and as stated in the memorandum that identifies essential critical infrastructure workers dated March 19, 2020, "If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule."

In addition, in Arizona, as defined under Executive Order 2020-12 (Essential Services), section e, subsections xiv and xv. "Businesses that sell, manufacture, or supply products needed for people to work from home or conduct distance learning." and "Businesses that sell, manufacture, or supply other Essential Businesses and Operations with the support or materials necessary to operate, including computers, audio and video electronics, household appliances; IT and telecommunication equipment".

What we are doing to protect our team and our customers

Above all, every decision made is done so with the input of our front-line team members.

Our stores typically operate with one to two employees as a regular course of business and we typically work with customers, one at a time.

We stress setting appointments for those that come to our stores so we can keep the number of people in our stores at any given time to a comfortable minimum.

If desired, we can coordinate curbside or parking lot drop off and/or pickup of your devices when you set your appointments.

We offer remote assistance via the Internet or our contactless pick-up and delivery to your home or office if you'd prefer.

Should you prefer in-person interaction, we adhere to the social distancing and disinfecting standards recommended by all of the health organizations as well as between our employees throughout the day.

We sanitize and disinfect all surfaces of the devices that we are asked to work on before we begin any type of evaluation or service and again just prior to returning the device to our customers.

We proactively sanitize and disinfect our service counters, door handles or any surface that humans may come in contact with throughout the day.

Given the CDC's updated guidance, we no longer require fully vaccinated guests and team membes to wear face coverings in our stores, except where required by local ordinances. We continue to recommend social distancing where practical and/or possible. Face coverings continue to be strongly recommended for guests and team members who are not fully vaccinated.

Service Options

In order to determine the best and safest course of action, please contact the location nearest you to discuss the issues you are experiencing. If a store visit is required, we ask that you set an appointment so that our team can try to minimize in-person contact with other customers.

Remote Service

As long as your computer can connect to the Internet, we can provide a permission-based one-time remote connection to review your situation and determine the best course of action or resolve your issue.

If you are a Quality Care Member, this service is included in your membership and will be free of charge.

Contactless Pick-up & Delivery

If your issue is hardware based or does not allow you to connect to the Internet, we will need to service it in our stores. To eliminate the need for any in-person contact, we have developed a free Contactless Pick-up & Delivery process should your device require a physical repair - some geographic limitations may apply.

In-Home or In-Office

In the event a network specific issue or other more complicated situations can not be resolved by either remote service or contactless pick-up & delivery, one of our team members may be able to provide service in your home or business.

Should this occur, we ask that you help us maintain our safety standards as if you were in our stores. Social distancing and disinfection procedures are critical in these situations and can only be accomplished if everyone strictly adheres. Face Coverings and other PPE are using whenever pracital and/or necessary for non-vaccinated team members and guests.

Our Continued Updates

The guidelines and mandates from our government may require us to update or discontinue various portions of our current process. Should this occur, we will update this page with those changes.

Thank you for your understanding.
