My daughters computer kept crashing. When she tried to restore her system she kept getting errors of files not found.
I installed a new hard drive which passes all of the diagnostic tests.
It still did not work!
I installed a new cd-rom drive which works but still will not load the system disks.
We have tried 3 different copies of system disks. None of them will work.
I do not know what to do next. Can you help? The hard drive is formated but we are unable to install a system on it.

Please keep track of where this situation occurs to have a more specific idea where the problem is happening I have some sugestion that you may encounter:
-update your computer and also update the Antivirus software, after updating rebooting and scan your computer with the Antivirus software Also try to figure out the problem such as everytime you click an icon it crashes and then give me the blue screen After you figure out the problem and is a program that is cause this, then uninstall this program.
-when booting press F8 to go to Windows menu setup, and choose debug, this may debug some problem in your system.
-If you just going to make a clean installation then do some backup files, then install windows XP or 2000 or 98 When you run Windows setup program you can partition the hard drive and format Make sure the CD is clean and neat so the CD-ROM be able to read it If necessery unplug the Ethernet cable, dialup line and other external devices except the mouse and keyboard
