Open an attachment

How do I find the program to open files sent via email attachment when you get the popup that you need a file to open it and you don't have it? For instance how do I open an "bmp" file.?

Is very easy, but you need to now what kind of file you are trying to open with If a bmp file then open with paint program If is a "doc", then open with Microsoft Word.

Now if you don't have the program then you need to dowload the program In order to see it, but remember never open an attachment after you already Scan it for virus.
