Window XP

I have an iMac running system 8.6 with lots of files. I plan to purchase a new PC with Windows XP. Can I transfer my iMac files over to the new Windows XP environment? How do I do that? Thanks.

I don't think that the PC would accept the files from the Mac computer, they are not comparable the computer information are different in each computer You need a File Exchange control panel that allow PC to read the Mac Files.
