What is HP ScanJet 3670 USB?

Recently bough an HP ScanJet 3670 USB scanner and cannot install the software as the computer comes up with the following error: "There was a problem installing this hardware Scanjet 3600 Series, an error ocurred during the installation of the device, the required section was not found".

The error above appears when doing the automatic installation; if going through the Controler Panel and going to the "Add Hardware" function the error is: "This device is not configured correctly (Code 1)"

The system is a P4 2.4Ghz, 512Mb Ram, 80Gig HD, 64Mb Video Card, and Windows XP PRO.

Please Help, any ideas or pointers will be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Please try this link At times you will come accros some issue with XP and CD's with drivers that are not copatible that came with the device you have bought
