How to fix mouse.

my computer does not see my mouse. when i turn it on there is no curser. when i reboot in safe mode it is there. i have scanned for viruses and defragged but to no avail. when i look for the driver for the mouse it is there (in safe mode) but I am unable to do anything in normal operating mode. Lately the computer has been freezing up quite regularly. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you checked everything, but one Press the windows key, programs, accersories, system information Expand the componets folder and click the input folder Click pointing device and make sure it says ok and it is not disabled Also from the control panel check your mouse settings to be sure that they are the way you want.
