Why does my mouse become sluggish after sitting idle for a few minutes?

My mouse works perfect when i first put my computer on, but if i let my mouse sit for a couple of minutes without using it. it then becomes very suglish, very slow.

please help

System resources could be slowing you down You may have too many programs loaded in the background and therefore taking up too many resources Disable some of the programs loaded at Startup Go to Start > Run and type msconfig Go the the Startup page and uncheck the programs that you don't need.

The problem could also be a virus or spyware Check for virus and adware at:
