What is power problem?

My computer stays on for a minute and then just shuts itself off. I changed the power supply so it wasnt that. It will have power and everything, the harddrive is is still on the keyboard and the fan in the computer. but the function of the cd rom of nothing else work. It will not come back on. Can you help me?

First of all, make sure that you didn't smell a burning odor Next, make sure that the CPU fan was running, cause if it wasn't...then your CPU has burned out Also, make sure that the Molex connectors from the power supply were properly attached to the motherboard and all other devices.
