I use Outlook Express 6 for my email and I need to know how to set the program so it can leave a copy of my mail on the ISP's mail server, the reason for this is that I travel with my laptop and I want to be able to check my email and leave a copy on the server to be downloaded and saved on my PC at home.

Thank you,

Sal

Ok this is how you change the setting so that you'll be able to save a copy of all the mail in your mailbox first you have to go to the tools menu, then go to accounts Here you'll find the account you use to send/receive mail, highlight the one that you use Then click on the properties button Here you'll find how to change the properies of the mail Go to the advanced menu, then you'll see delivery Put a check in the box that says leave the copy of the message on the server I would also check the box that says delete message when you delete them from the deleted items then they'll stay until you delete them from the other box even if you don't keep them in your inbox--Robert Outlaw
