hi.few days back just as my computer started to log on windows xp suddenly it restart itself.i thought that maybe there was a os system error so i tried to reinstall windows xp and refrmatt my computer.what happened was it failed to reformatt and it says that my hard disk may errors or failures.what does this mean?

I think that the your hard drive is about to go, you might need to install a new drive.
