Need to run Microsoft Outlook, because of using a PDA.
After installing Outlook 2000, I can't send e-mail in it. I can receive e-mail.
Outlook Express was loaded with the Install of XP. and it seems has taken over the sending of e-mail.
How can this be corrected ?
I have double checkedserver addresses, and they are proper.
Does having the machine on a home network have anything to do with this problem ?
Thank You

I think this could be happens because you do not set your Outlook as your default e-mail program, as you said that you has already installed the XP, but you did not say if you set it to used as your default e-mail program, so I suggest you to do this.
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel
2. Double-click the Internet Options icon, and then click the Programs tab
3. In the E-mail list, click Microsoft Outlook, and then click OK to save the changes.
