I believe I have a corrupt file because at boot up I get a spool 32 message stating that this program

has performe and illegal operatiion and will be shut down. When I install the system recovery disc

I get a message stating disc can not be located. I have checked and double checked all the cable connections. Also on several web sites I get a message stating the

web site can not be displayed. I am totally lost and scared to death to get to deeply involved for

fear of really screwing up. I am running windows 98. Thanks for any help. Have a great day.

Spool 32 errors usually involve printers and are involved with printer changes, software conflict or corrupted programs A virus infection of the spool.exe program is another possibility Make certain that you rule out this possibility with a virus scan of the hard drive

Update your antivirus software and scan through all your hard drive Uninstall a printer software and boot up and then see what happen If you cann't get to your computer screen try logon in "safe mode" by pressing the Ctrl key at the bootup.

If this doesn't then you might want to find out tweak software that cleans your system and delete unwanted programs.

The last chioce is to reinstall windows 98 from scratch, if you doing this remmember to reformatted the partition so you could have a fresh copy
