I need to share files in Word, Excell and Access 2000 between my Desktop PC with a CD-RW drive [Windows Me] and my new laptop with a DVD-RW drive [Windows XP]. The laptop has neither a CD-RW drive nor a floppy disk drive. The only way to share files at the moment is to e-mail them between the two machines as the PC will not read the files saved onto a data disk made by the laptop. How can I use the same disk and make it work in both machines, please?

I suggest you to create a network conection with your destktop PC and your laptop

and share the files so you can be able to use them in both machines
