What is faulty connections?

hi...

i turn on my computer but nothing shows up on the monitor...

i turn it off...

i turn it back on again... the screen shows up...

i have to do this everytime the computer has been off for a long time...

soo this is the summary:

have to turn computre on 2 times to get a picture on monitor....

please help me with this problem....
