The video is good

My computer crashed...so I purchased a new motherboard and cpu...also a video card...all I get on the monitor is a grey checkerboard screen...yesterday I was able to get into bios setup by unhooking cdrom, floppy...now today nothing.

But the sometime the bad chip, ROM or RAM on the could display the character on the monitor.
