What is security options?

When I get on the Yahoo web site and type something in to search it goes to this page cannot be displayed and says cannot find server and I dont know what to do I have called places and they tell me to download adware/spyware things and I do and they erase a lot of stuff but it still does not let me search yahoo and I have done all my critical updates.......what do I do. HELP

Maybe what you need to do is lower you security guard to be able to search on the net
