Both related to Internet Explorer:

1) at bootup my IE home page is set to:Ziportal.com; I change it to Google each time and "save" it with the tool option in IE, but it is reset anytime I reboot, back to Ziportal. How can I delete this "bug".

2) Also at bootup, three sites are inserted into my favorites list. Again, I delete each time and they reappear with each bootup.

Thanks for your tips on spam... most helpful. I listen to your show on Saturday's.

If you are getting the same website as your homepage and the same links in your favorites, it is possible you may have a virus or a website you visited may have install unwanted programs to your computer and this is why you keep getting the same sites as your home page first you should run any anti-virus software you have Then you can download this program called "Adaware 6.0" This program is free and basically removes adware from you pc another free program you could try is "spy-bot search and destroy" both programs are free and can be downloaded from www.download.com Spybot will remove all spyware from your pc spyware is junk that gets into the registry and will cause problems like the ones you are having So try these programs out and it should stop this from occuring again.
