What is msconfig?

After the computer has started up, the "MY COMPUTER" tab opens up automatically. You know the one that shows all of the different disk drives & system folders. How do I keep it from popping up each time the computer starts up?

If you open the run program and type in msconfig then click on the startup tab you should be able to disable my computer from opening up automatically
