Sometimes I get VERY slow movement when I drag an image on the screen, or when I'm playing a card game the cards move as if the processor is engaged in some heavy number crunching. Also, there can be a "background" image in a window that's open.......an image of text from an e-mail, for example, that was there earlier but had been closed.

Am I looking at insufficient video card memory or video memory problems? Is the CPU involved with video? How can I check? Thanks.

You should really look into upgrading the amount of memory you have Contact the manufacturer of your computer and find out what kind of RAM you need and how much you can get This will take care of your slow down problem.
