My IE6 refuses to connect to the internet. I keep getting the message "The page cannot be displayed" no matter what site I try to go to. I've talked to my computer's manuafacturer (you know you can't talk to Microsoft) and, after many, many hours on the phone, they suggest I do a "Non-destructive recovery" as the only way to get IE6 operating again. Oh, all my other internet programs work just fine. I'm using Netscape for this note.

I know IE6 is an integral part of Win XP but, I really don't like it, it's given me other problems in the past. Can you tell me how to uninstall it and I'll go back to IE5.5? I've tried to do it like any other program and it won't go.

Thanks.
