What to do to fix my CPU usage from running so high?

Hi my name is Binh Pham and i have a problem with my computer. I have Windows XP Pro. Everytime i go to the Windows Task Manager and then To Performance my CPU is Always 100%. Because its 100% all the time it slows all my programs down and i dont want my programs to be slow. If you can help me I will deeply Appreciate it. Thank you

In the Task Manager go to Processes and see if any of the hidden programs are running at a high percantage, remove the program and see if your CPU usage goes back down to a normal range.
