How to disable automatic dial up

How can I disable the dial up window from automatically appearing when I start either Explorer or Netscape? I would prefer to click on the Icon and dial up then open the browser of choice.

It is set now that when I click on a browser icon the dial up window automatically appears and I can either have it dial automatically or click on dial. I would like to know how to disable this feature.

The way to the modem is on your right hand side on the bottom right click on it then you should see if the dial is checked off, if not check click on it again to disable it from dial up.
