I asked if I could run 2 hard drive and boot off of one or the other. Your answer described how to set up dual boot on one hard drive. That is not what I want. I want 2 drives.

c:/ and f:/ for example. I want to choose to boot from c:/ or f:/ at . I want one password protected and one not password protected.

Yes you can run 2 hard drive

First install both hard drives and set up your drives for each, at POST your computer will request that you choose one or another drive and that's were you make the decision as to what drive you want.

You would set a password or not when you install the different drives.
