Somethings wrong with the cd-rom. Most of the time when i put a cd (any type)into the cd drive, it'll take about a minute to load and then play, but when i change the track number to track seven or above, it'll just freeze up and then go back to track one (00:00). I tried cleaning the cd and cleaning the inside of the cd-rom, but it still does the same thing. I don't know if the cd-rom can't read the cd fast enough or what. Please help!! Also for some tracks above 7 it'll play, but keep skipping, and when i put it in a portable cd player or whatever, it doesn't skip at all.

I would try installing a cd-rom.
