My computer with 184 mg RAM is freezing when I play an interactive Bridge card game on the zone.com. They recently changed their web site also.

It also frequently will start up in a red rainbow type color, no desktop but a redish screen.

When I restart I am in a safe mode so I have to restart again. Then I have to reset my colors to high color16 bit and rest the resolution to 800x600, which is required to play this card game.

I have updated my video driver, closed open programs running in the background, emptied temp internet files. I have also uninstalled the zone files and heartbeat active X control, as they have advised. When I entered the zone game next time the new files downloaded and installed.

I don't know what else to do to remedy the problem. I hate to pay a lot of money to a repair place, when this seems to be an isolated problem only when playing this interactive zone game.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

The frist thing you can do is to upgarde your RAM from a 184 to 512 Mb of RAM and the freezing should stop.
