While I'm connected to the internet, some programs and web pages start to emit a very loud high pitched noise from the tower. If I minimize the program or site, the noise will start, and sometimes while scrolling through a web page, the noice will be stronger and more intense at different points. YOu can scroll down to the bottom and it will quiet some and go back to the previous point and it will get loud again. It's very annoying and I've never ever heard of such a problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In control panel folder look for Sounds and multimedia icon and open In the properties sounds look for event such as when you minimize a windows and select Under Scheme click the drop down list and choose no sound.

Also if you have Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP which gives you also Scheme sound for any events that you do in your computer such as clicking or minimize, you can disable this scheme if you right click in your desktop and choose properties.
