I am having terrible problems with my monitor picture. It is distorted, but dot because of resloution. It usualkly happens when there are other things going on...but that is only one other thing. I was wondering if a virus could completly mess up your visual. And any other help would be great!

A monitor can not be near of other monitors or TV Also cannot not share the surge proctetor with other equipment that consume a lot of energy because it will interference with your cable If you have a big Stereo Speaker or a lamp, don't put it near to your monitor

Make sure your outlet from your wall is working well In your monitor panel button should have a setting call Degauss, choose this option to see if the problem disappear.

If you have another monitor hook it up to your computer and see if you have the same problem, if you still see the same problem then you have a video problem.

Try to reduce the resolution of your monitor and set the refresh rate between 60-75 MHz, set the color bit to 16-bit Also check to see if you had add a color profile to your monitor by going to the Display properties-->settings-->click the advances tab-->and color managment tab If you don't have go to the Manufacture Website of your monitor and look for drivers.

If this didn't solve your problem then you have a fault monitor and needs to be replace.
