Everytime i go to open a application i get the error message (containing a load of characters were i dont know where to start but go something like this &8$3jm') followed by is not a valid integer value this happens when i try to open anything like add/remove programs (anything in the settings), word (and all other applications excpt internet explorer which is working fine) i can enter my documents and search through but cannot open anything via here either just get the same error message, i can look at photos and pictures etc. Im no computer genius but can normally solve most problems myself but with this i am absolutely clueless the only thing i can think of is to format my hard drive which i dont really want a do as i have no way of backing up the films and files i have on the HDD as they are so large. Any help much appreciated i will be in your debt forever.
