What is resolution?

When I try to play a dvd on my computer the picture is clear but jittery as if in a kind of fast stop- motion mode. Could this be possibly due to only having 128 RAM? Thanks!

The RAM has nothing to do wit the jitterness of your screen Change the resolution for your screen and the jitterness should stop.
