I recently had a virus, three at one time, and I had to go to the internet and do the virus scan and eliminate the viruses as it had disabled my ability to run Norton SystemWorks, I could not run any programs or even run the virus scan from the CD. By the time I eliminated them with FixSwen.exe and changed it to FixSwen.cmd: information obtained from your website, I had by the lost a few files and now I am getting some errors.

I thought I would restore Windows XP Pro with the CD program. But when I run it, it comes to a point that it tells me that it can not access the Boot.INI file. Is there anyway to fix this error without having to do a complete Windows installation?

Claude if the Boot.INI file can not be access then regardless of anything you are going to have to do a complete fresh installation But before you do try a system recovery if you cannot recover it then re-installing is your only option
