How to fix monitor.

I was on the computer and all of a sudden everything went black......Now when i try to start it back up everything sounds like its starting up but all i get is a black screen then the monitor menu comes up and says check cable connection

Sounds like your video plug is not in all the way Check the cable with the blue connector going to your computer Make sure it is in tightly and the 2 screws are turned tightly THis should fix your problem.
