Every time I boot my system, I get the following error message:

The 32bit device driver CDRPWD(01) + 0000AD23 has attempted to use a system service which is not loaded. After hitting return 3 times, my system continues loading. How do I find out what system service it's talking about? Looks to me like it has something to do with my CD. It's very irritating. Can you help me?

All that can be told from that is that you have the Adaptec/Roxio software Easy CD Creator and/or DirectCD installed and loading at startup (normal), and that one of their common modules, cdrpwd.DLL, made a call to a function whos DLL is not loaded or was not found.

You did not bother to say if you had a CD-RW drive installed or if you were having any problems with it If you no longer have one, then remove (Add/Remove Programs) this software Other wise try re-installing the ECDC software, including download the latest updates from the Roxio ECDC site for your version If that does not solve the problem then you will have to track down what system function DLL has been removed from your system.
